It may be awhile.....

So, while we were in Baltimore for Thanksgiving, Allison thought it would be fun to throw our camera into Kevin & Chanel's toilet.....what a sweet little girl, huh? Anyway, I waited until yesterday to try it out and it gave me some error code and was flashing in and out until it finally went out. Now, if you have the battery in the red light on the front for the timer stays on constantly - whether or not the camera is off. So, I'm thinking that it may be time for a new camera, but that will have to wait for a little while longer - maybe after Chris starts his new job or something! Anyway, I just wanted you all to know that we probably wont be posting a whole lot of pictures in the near future. You probably wont see a ton of posts in general, considering that if I did post it would just be me writing a bunch of garbage - and nobody wants that. Anyway, just an FYI.

Aren't kids fun?

Scary Moments

Well, I've been meaning to post this for a week now. I believe it was last Tuesday.....Allison decided to pull a cup of scalding hot chocolate down onto herself. We had all decided to have some cocoa, but it was too hot to drink so we were waiting for it to cool off. We had only turned our backs for a moment when Allison made a bee-line for the cup. We didn't realize what had happened until she started screaming!! Poor thing! We immediately got her clothes off and put some cold water on it to help calm her down. I don't think I've ever heard her cry like that before!
She was burned pretty bad all down her front. She had little red dots, but no big blisters. We decided to put some aloe on it and keep on eye on it.
It didn't take long for her to calm down and get back to our normal Allison. I was amazed that even just an hour or so after the incident she was totally calm and it didn't seem to really hurt her anymore. Little kids heal so fast!! She still has a couple of little spots on her chest, but it looks like she's gonna be just fine!! It was just a really scary moment for us fairly new parents....I'm sure there are many more to come.

Pretty Girl!

This morning we had to get up early to get to Lacey by 9am for Logan McGee's son Kason's baby blessing. I had gotten Allison all dressed and did her hair and I thought she looked beautiful. Unfortunately, by the time I got the camera to take a picture of how cute she looked her hair was no longer the way I wanted it!! I decided to scrap that idea and go with pig-tails!

Halloween

Allison's cousin Jared was so excited when he found his old pumpkin costume that he wanted Allison to wear for Halloween. Unfortunately, our little girl is VERY tall and the leggings only went down to her mid-calf! So, I borrowed an outfit from a lady at work and our little girl was a Ballerina. We thought she was adorable.
We took her up to see Grandpa Nielsen - they had a good time together but she wanted to run down the halls and was irritating a few of the other residents. We decided it was best not to stay too long!

Camo-Girl

For Allison's 1st Birthday, her Grandpa Nadeau got her a bunch of camo clothes - big surprise! So, I thought it would be funny to dress her up in her camo dress for church during the opening weekend of deer hunter. To my surprise, nobody got the joke - everyone thought she was adorable and should wear the dress more often!! Seriously, are we from Shelton or what?

Allison's 1st Birthday

So, it's been almost a month, but here are a few pictures from Allison's birthday. She really didn't get too into the cake, but we did have a lot of fun! I almost wished I was turning 1. She got a TON of presents!

It's About Time

Well, I decided if Kendall can make time to start a blog, then I'd better get my act together and get mine going as well. I signed up for this blogger almost a week ago and am finally getting to it now....so here it goes!
